Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

By accessing HVAC Optima, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Our service

HVAC Optima connects homeowners with independent, licensed HVAC contractors in the cities and ZIP codes we cover. We are not the provider of the HVAC work itself.

Referrals and third-party contractors

Contractors are independent businesses. Any agreement, quote, warranty, or payment is between you and the contractor. We do not guarantee any specific outcome.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site for unlawful purposes.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or reverse engineer the service.
  • Provide accurate contact information when requesting service.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, graphics, logos — is owned by HVAC Optima or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HVAC Optima is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or any contractor services obtained through it.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Contact

Questions? Reach us via the contact page or call (888) 555-0142.

Scheduling, cancellations, and no-shows

Service requests submitted through HVAC Optima are routed to the local contractor covering your ZIP code. Arrival windows, cancellation policies, trip fees, and after-hours rates are set by the individual contractor and disclosed before work begins. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact the assigned contractor directly using the number provided in your booking confirmation.

Payments, quotes, and warranties

HVAC Optima does not process payments for HVAC work. All quotes, invoices, deposits, and refunds are handled directly between you and the contractor. Parts warranties are provided by the equipment manufacturer under their standard terms. Labor warranties are provided by the servicing contractor. Ask your technician for written warranty terms before authorizing work.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HVAC Optima, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with any contractor obtained through the service.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which HVAC Optima is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration on an individual (non-class) basis, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual-property or unauthorized-use claims.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
